Inspired by the sight of mustard fields stretching through beech forests to the ocean waves, these works explore the tension between the romanticized view of nature and the realities of our planet’s current state.

The use of iPhone images—transferred, layered, and intertwined with a foundation of mud-dyed fabric and repurposed garment scraps serves as a commentary on humanity's consumption of the environment. It’s a question left unanswered, a cycle that seems to both begin and end in the same place. Perhaps more complex and entangled than originally perceived, the landscape remains fragmented, viewed from a distant, bird’s-eye perspective.
