Exploring the lifecycle of textiles — Paul McNulty.

Paul McNulty’s practice is rooted in the deconstruction of pre-owned fabrics and surplus fragments. By ripping, tearing, and collaging discarded clothing into new abstract forms, he investigates the transition of material from functional object to sculptural work.

Deeply influenced by the Arte Povera movement, his work operates on the belief that one man’s trash is another’s treasure. These sculptures and collages serve as a critique of contemporary consumption, questioning our ingrained habits and behaviour while elevating the raw, inherent beauty of recovered materials.

Discover the work in-store at Kronprinsensgade 3, 1114 Copenhagen.
